As much as They inspired me and made me happy, I wish didn’t drown too much into thinking that they are the only escape I had in this world. Looking back to my 14 year old self, I wish she focused more on herself than be deluded into this perfect life that idols seem to have.
I watched a video somewhere saying that people (mostly teenagers) stan kpop idols when they’re sad and lost and suddenly drift away in time when they finally find the things that made them really happy. Not just a passing feeling but a genuine one.
Still, I’m thankful for EXO for introducing into this wonderfully painful world of fangirling. Lowkey missing 2014-2016 kpop era. :(

4:55 the old man is right, everyone wasting precious time off of their lives by doing something so useless like replaying a music video over and over again. My father is not supportive of my love for kpop, but the further I looked into what he said the more it made sense. No matter how much these people may have impacted you, they are all here as products of a dangerous industry. They are all controlled and the vast majority don’t even have a say in what they wear or do, so please, find the difference between being a fan and being obsessed. I owe very happy moments to the groups that I stan, but I am only leaving it at that.

As you grow older, you get a different perspective of the life you lived in the past and you may feel a sense of pride or regret about it. That's just life, you don't remain stagnant, you grow. I've been a fan of BTS for almost 6 yrs now and I honestly know time will come they have to focus on other things and the same goes to me as well. But one thing I know for sure is that during the most confusing and heartbreaking time of my life a little before I turned 20, they're the one who remained constant in giving me comfort and inspiring me through their music. I might have spent my whole youth with them and some people would think it'd be worthless, they can keep on believing that if that's the truth for them, but the truth for me is that I can't even be writing this right now if I haven't listened to Tomorrow and Not Today yrs ago, to keep it simple. So maybe me supporting BTS 'til now is a sense of gratitude. I really just wish that in the future they'd have a beautiful and majestic landing as it is for an eagle after a very long flight. I hope I'd be there to witness that happen. In the future, I also hope I'd be just as willing as I am right now to have good people surround me and impact my life in different ways for me to grow and learn as a person.

What got me into kpop is EXO (I'm elementary that time) and from then on until now (I'm senior in highschool), I still love and support them even tho their member line up hasn't been the same as it used to be back in 2012. I will be always an EXO-L and now an SM stan too.

FUN FACT: PEOPLE KNOWS BTS but don't know KPOP. That's tells us how popular these guys are, also when you ask someone why they became a fan they said four main things, messages lyrics, songs, 7memebers, love army. I'm hardcore once and monabebe but BTS has a different breed, they're just special idk something about those guys that make people like them I'VE LISTEN TO THEIR OLD SONGS AND LATEST it's a actually different but same things and goals behind all those songs. Mad respect to all kpop groups for their hardwork.

Unlike a lot of people I got to know them randomly by YouTube recommendation in Feb 2013..whne u didn't know what their name was, a JK n jimin vlog about music without subtitles I think it was valentine day.. That's the only word I understood n fans were translating the vlog in comments.. Then I followed them.. I think their bangtan tv subs was very less That time.. Then I heard about kpop n waited for their debut.. N then we were called army..

EXO got me into kpop, they gave me comfort in life. And i think EXO is a timeless kpop group they've been in the industry for like 8 years now but their fame is still soaring. I just love how humble they are and their personalities makes me fall in love even harder
I am also a lowkey fan of Bigbang, their songs are just so remarkable. I love every song they have especially loser and last dance. I always listen to their songs whenever im in a bad mood. Their songs makes me sing a long to it unintentionally and i love it.
