If you're wondering what the song is about: Lalalay is about being an individual, being free to be yourself and not letting other people bring you down. During her showcase she explained that she chose a butterfly to appear all over her MV because butterflys travel alone unlike bees. That's why she says something like "the others are like a swarm of bees" (1:19).
In the beginning she sings about how she decided that the opinions of other people shouldn't have an impact on her wellbeing (no matter what other people say she's still okay). She's also dancing with a wig and looks exactly like the background dancers when in the end she looks at a mirror and takes the wig off. That means that she decides to be herself and not to act a certain way just to be like the others. What a powerful message, especially since individality is not a very high value in many Asian countries. Also I think many people can relate, for exaple in High School many want to be trendy and act a certain way to fit in. Sunmi says that you shouldn't be afraid to be yourself and be different because otherwise "where's the fun" (1:17)?
What I love about Sunmi is that she always seems very real, she doesn't follow trends, she just does what she loves. People always say she's weird and I think that might be true, but in an artistic, meaningful way ^^
