okay my time has come to shine
so your blood type is basically defined by the genes you inherit from your parents. everyone gets one from their mom and one from their dad. there are 4 types of blood: 0,A,B,AB. each consist of two genes. so if you want to write down those it would be something like this 0=has two 0, A= has a 0 (which will be dominated by the other, thats why you dont see it but its in your genes) and one A, B= has a 0 (same thing as before) and a B and an AB= has an A and a B
when inheriting you randomly get one of your parents' genes, its like a lotto. and those two random genes define your blood type (you also pass on randomly one of your genes to your kid so jonghoon can have a kid that has any type of blood (depending on the mother ofc) while iu will never have a kid that has AB blood type)
and all this meaning that IU has two 0 genes and jonghoon has an A and a 0. so their parents are either a 0 and an A or two As
(hope this helped and you could understand it somehow even tho my logic sucks when i try to explain things feel free to ask questions) (also sorry if i used weird or not the best words in places, english is not my first language so idk what to use sometime)

haha IU has the same concern as me about Hoon's ring :)) I was wondering about it since part 1, because it looks a little too old-styled ring compared to his age. But maybe he is the type of person who treasures the family so much that he never wants to take it out. He also seems to be a kind of mama-boy, who looks much closer to mommy than IU. That's why I think there is still a certain gap between them. I do not know the behind story, but I really hope that Hoon can always stay there to comfort our IU when she's in difficult times. Love both of them!

Seriously my favourite IU interview of all time, everything in the deep talks (both part 1 and 2 ofc) but especially what she said about happiness being defined by similar people who understand it as simply content-ness, not overly excited type of happiness. that really resonated with me bc i have been saying that too for a long time. thank you to our jieun unnie, jonghoon, all the IU team, and ofc my fellow UAENA family for everything~~~ <3 i hope we can all be happy by this definition of happiness for as long as we can <3 love you all
